Booking an event with The Bloom Room denotes that you have read, agreed and understood these terms and conditions. No alterations to these terms and conditions can be made unless agreed by The Bloom Room in writing.
General The Bloom Room has a five million pound Public Liability Insurance and current hygiene certificate. We buy all stock to order, any sweets remaining you keep at the end of the event. A copy of our insurance policy can be provided to you or your venue upon request. As part of our Terms and Conditions a £50.00 refundable breakage deposit will be required for each booking. After your event the Cart, Glassware and Accessories will be thoroughly checked and if there is no damage, breakages or loss to The Bloom Room property your full deposit will be refunded within 3 working days. Should any damages occur and the amount exceed the £50.00 deposit, (this would be in the event of damage to the actual Candy Cart), customers will be invoiced for the additional cost of repair. In the event of this occurring payment is to be made within 14 days of receipt of the invoice. Damages will be charged at the appropriate cost to replace the item and proof of these costs will be provided by The Bloom Room. We would ask that you request your guests to refrain from leaving drinks glasses on the Cart as it is professionally made and this may result in the Cart being water damaged or stained. If damage does occur due to the above, part or all of the £50.00 refundable deposit will be non-returnable depending on the degree of damage caused. We include free delivery within a 15 mile radius of our premises. (77 Berry Lane, Longridge, PR3 3WH Any additional mileage will be charged at 50p per mile. Please ensure adequate parking facilities are available at the venue to loading/unloading of the cart and accessories. Adverse Weather Conditions Please note that in the event of extreme weather conditions that deem us unable to travel to your venue, Candy Cart Co reserves the right to cancel the booking at short notice, or even on the day of your event. In this instance you will receive a full refund immediately. Cancellation Fees Unfortunately should you have to cancel your booking within 4 weeks of the event, having paid the full balance, 50% of the total and your refundable deposit will be returned to you. The Candy Cart The hire of the Candy Cart is for a period of time specified on your booking form. The Candy Cart will be erected and dismantled by a member of staff from The Bloom Room. It is a fixed unit and once assembled and in place CANNOT BE MOVED. If you attempt to move the cart it may collapse and you will be liable to pay for any damage caused. Hygiene is a high priority for our company therefore all sweets remaining at the end of your event will be packaged and given to you to take home. We do not re-use any stock. Customers are not permitted to mix their own sweets with the sweets provided by The Bloom Room. This is for insurance and product traceability reasons. Any personalisation included in our packages cannot be replaced or altered, therefore when requested please ensure you provide the correct details. Customers should be aware that certain hardboiled sweets and sweet wrappers may present a choking hazard, especially to young children. Please therefore ensure that any young children are supervised at all times when using the candy buffet. The Bloom Room cannot be held responsible for any safety issues which may occur from the consumption of confectionery or the use of our equipment at your event. Decoration to the cart can be provided by The Bloom Room and matched as closely as possible to your chosen colour scheme. Additional decorations can be added upon request. This is optional. Allergies Please note we cannot guarantee that the sweets we supply have not come into contact with or been produced in an environment that does not contain nuts. If you do have allergies, please use the candy buffet at your own discretion. This applies to all of your guests as well. All sweets that we provide that are known to contain nuts will be clearly labelled. A complete list of ingredients for each variety of sweets on your Candy Cart will be provided and available for guests to check at your event. All of the confectionery for your Candy Cart is handled wearing hygiene gloves. In the event of handling sweets containing nuts, new gloves will be used to limit the possibility of cross contamination. Complaints and Recommendations In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with any part of our service please inform The Bloom Room within 5 days of your event. We reserve the right to refuse compensation with any complaint after 5 days of the event date. The Bloom Room endeavour to provide a professional service for your event. If you have been really pleased with our service and products we would very much appreciate a short testimonial for our website and/or facebook page. Liability The Bloom Room or any of its representatives shall not be held liable in respect of damages/injury/loss or any other damage incurred in respect of this hire, as a result of any defect or damage to the item and the customer shall satisfy him/herself of the suitability/condition/placement of the equipment upon receipt. By paying a £50.00 deposit for the hire of the Candy Cart I agree to the above terms and conditions. I understand that the remaining balance will be due 4 weeks before the event. If full payment is not received at this time, The Bloom Room reserves the right to deliver the Candy Buffet to your event. It is recommended that you share the above information with your venue/wedding planner.
